2002 Toyota Avensis car radio not working

Hi,
My Avensis has a combined radio/sat nav unit. The radio stopped working but the sat nav was not affected. I checked the fuse and it had not blown, when I put the fuse back in the radio worked for a short while then stopped. Removing and replacing the fuse gets the radio working for a short while. Thinking it was the unit I fitted one from a scrapper, but the problem still persists. Any thoughts please.

it sounds like you have a dodgy fuse or wire, maybe the fuse slot, i would try a different fuse and check the wiring and fuse connectors if its passing the problem to other devices this is the most likely cause
