2018 Ssangyong Tivoli tail lights on after turning off engine

Open and then close all doors , boot and bonnet , see if that works

Yeah seems to be when tailgate is open lights go out!! Will see if removing boot bulb sorts it. Thanks for the advice 😀

Shut everything down with the key fob after being out for the day then noticed later that the lights were still on, tried everything to shut them off, only thing that worked was not completely shutting the boot so had to leave it unlocked

What lights are we talking about , side lights , headlights , interior lights or boot lights ?

It’s all the lights head lights interior lights
If you leave the boot open the lights will go off

If the light switch is set to Auto , try switching it off

Try that, once I took the bulb out of the boot light then shut the boot the head lights etc lights went off when using the key fob and I was able to lock the car!!
