2016 Ssangyong Tivoli the radiator and condenser are bowed from the middle for most of tivoli and xlv 2015-2017 models.

Car: Ssangyong Tivoli
Year: 2016
Variant: 1.6 diesel
Exactly the same problem and as you radiator bowed in the middle and the radiator has now started to leak.
To be fair it's my daughters car and initially I thought she might of caught something high whilst manoeuvring but as it turns out there are no other marks anywhere and after reading your post it confirms that this is a design fault and should be a recall, incidentally this car has already had the radiator replaced by its previous owner under warranty maybe that was due to the same issue.

May well be with the previous owner . Try contacting Ssangyong dealers but dont hold out much hope for them to help or contribute to repair , but hope lives eternal

Thanks , I had kinda figured it would be down to me to fix, I shall try some K3 rad seal first then might get the rad recored as £280 for such a small rad seems expensive ,

Personally I dont like using any of those rad sealers , they go through the whole cooling system including heater matrix . I would only use in an emergency and if not keeping the vehicle or on owners instruction

I appreciate your response but I think a £12 bottle of K3 is the least expensive, considering a replacement radiator list price is £280 and the hassle of fitting it and on top of that probably an air con recharge as I'm sure the air con condenser has to come out inorder to get to the rad, many thanks Andy.
