Vibration through peddles

2010 Skoda Yeti SE 2.0 TDI CR 110PS DPF
Car: Skoda Yeti
Year: 2010
Variant: SE 2.0 TDI CR 110PS DPF

Hi all

My Skoda Yeti (2 wheel drive) is six months old but since new there has been a harsh high frequency vibration coming through the peddles and floor. This is very annoying because my feet get pins and needles after about 15 minutes.

The vibration starts and stays at about 2500rpm in all gears but is more harsh when accelerating hard. If you put in the clutch the vibration disappears, ie; when stationary reving engine with the clutch in.

You can only just detect a change in tone from the engine bay when the vibration starts. When cruising the vibration is constant but less than when accelerating.
My Garage seems to think all is ok.

Anyone have an idea?

I agree completely with W-hame. Take it back to the Dealer to get it sorted under Warranty. If they say it is normal look to borrow a Demo Yeti for a day or two for comparison. Depending on the outcome you may need to contact Skoda directly.
