Courtesy light doesn’t work on auto setting.

Courtesy light now keeps lights on all the time. Any suggestions please?

You got the switch on correct setting ? This is from owners h/book , click on next page also .

Hi there.
Yes, the switch is in the correct position.
I‘ve tried checking it over and over to see if the lights will go out once the engine is started, door opened and closed etc., but the lights just stay on when the switch is on the setting for coming on when the doors are opened.
Does this mean it will have to be checked at my Skoda dealership?
