2000 Seat Ibiza handbrake

When i put my handbrake on it creeks, you have to pull it right up further then usual so i think it's possibly broken and may need tightening up.
Can you fix then and how much would this cost?

Need to get it checked out first to find what is causing it .Could be many things , h/brake cable / worn brake shoes etc .
