Check your coolant level first and engine oil level also and get back with findings

White smoke usually signifies coolant burning in engine or fuel injector faulty .From what you describe it sounds like injector over fueling .

It does not seem to be missing and revs up ok would an injector make it smell of oil

It could do . You could try injector cleaner as a possible quick fix
