Loss of power on dual carriageway

2011 Seat Ibiza 1.4
Car: Seat Ibiza
Year: 2011
Variant: 1.4
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi guys. This morning I was driving to work, dual carriageway at about 70 mph.... My ibiza lost power and started to rapidly slow down, then after about a minute it suddenly went back to normal! Any ideas on what this could be? It ran fine again after that... Just very scary at the time!

Intermittent faults like this are hard to diagnose with so little to go one . A common cause is often due to a coil ignition pack breaking down temporarily , which means that engine cylinder is not firing which means you lose power . Plugs , fuel filter which are service items needing replaced are other possible causes but again only guesses . Can be very frightening when this occurs .
