2006 Seat Ibiza grinding noise while on overdrive

I have a problem with grinding noise coming on when I am driving. The CAT part of exhaust was replaced, it reduced noise but its still coming back. Specially if am on overdrive, small speed.
It sounds like something like steel is rubbing together...
Will be grateful for any advice on this.

Do you mean overrun rather than overdrive ? I would get exhaust rechecked , could be a heatshield if that is the area the noise is coming from .Unless the noise is coming from elsewhere .

Yes it's on overrun and it comes and goes.Thanks for your response

Hard to tell without really hearing noise or by tying down exactly where it's coming from .I.e could check for worn engine mountings .
