1998 Seat Ibiza cut out and won't start again

Just brought this car was driving it home and it was a bit rough idling, when I put my foot down the car would rev then kick in to life, it then cut out and now won't start again!

It could be any number of thing,s.Is it turning over but not starting?If so then you need to find out what it,s not getting ,wether that be fuel ,spark compression or other reason.Are you able to get any fault codes from the vehicle to provide a clue/starting point for diagnosis.
