2001 Seat Ibiza the passeger window has dislodged from the auotmated up/down mechanism.

The window is sitting at the ottom of the door and we did manage to get the inside door panel off. But how to get to the window to fix it? The automatic up/down slide has stopped functioning of course.

After you remove your door panel you should see the channels on each side the window should sit in, These will ether be secured with rivets or screws, if you remove the fixtures from one side it will allow you to relocate the window in runners (washing up liquid may assist in the lubrication for ease to refit.
Once relocated (Make sure your above the window stopper at bottom of channels) Refit rivets/Screws

you may not need to remove the securing rivets and bolts. try removing the window rubber and see if you can re locate the glass if this is poss re locate the rubber by using washing up liquid after the glass is in place
