500ma Battery Drain - Saab 9-5 Mk1 2001

2001 Saab 9-5 Aero Saloon auto
Car: Saab 9-5
Year: 2001
Variant: Aero Saloon auto
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Been fighting this for a while.
Alternator and battery good.
Pulling all internal fuses does not remove drain apart from ECU and memory contributions.
Pulling 60a maxi fuse for ignition circuit in engine bay makes it go away.
Is it likley to be the ignition switch below the key barrel in the centre console or something else down stream?
Doing my head in as pulling the internal cabin fuses has no influence at all!

Thanks for any help and suggestions!

Try disconnecting components alternator, starter, air con comp, etc,it maybe the ecu ,would not rule anything out,but looks like you are on the right track.

Some models suffered from the key cylinder not popping up and also with the amp .
