Squilling niose on start up

i have a saab 93 2000 model ...on start up the starter motor sounds like a pig squilling but im not sure it is the starter motor any other problems it could be? enguin is fine and no smoke from the turbo or no lagg in the enguin when running its great but just the noise from starting thats is annoying!!!

Sounds like it could be starter pinion sticking on shaft , usually caused by dirt / clutch dust .If so , remove starter and clean / free off . When starter removed , check ring gear .
