2001 Saab 9-3 poor fuel economy suddenly
Year: 2001
Variant: 2.2 diesel
Have a 2.2 diesel saab 93, done 135000 miles. Have had it about a year and was getting about 45mpg from it travelling to and from work about 20 mile round trip on fairly small roads. Suddenly the fuel economy has dropped to a mere 16mpg!!!! Any ideas what could have caused this. Seems to be running fine otherwise. Only done 6000 miles since last service.
