my rover 600sdi when running its fine but sometimes(quite often)it stutters like a miss firing ive changed diesel filter and put fuel system cleaner in and thought id solved it but its started again it doesnt stall more like hiccups

would recomend looking for air leaks in the fuel system and/or inlet manifold areas. otherwise it may be possible that the injector pump may be faulty.
also, check the timing belt tension. that could cause this problem. hope this helps!!
