my battery keeps going flat if i dont use it & its a newish battrey

hi,sounds like you have an amps draw somewhere on your car, something is drawing power from the battery when swithed off, try checking the boot light if fitted is it staying on, or glovebox light,interior light,if you do not know about car electrics or how to use a multi meter you will need to get an auto electrician to check it out

Even though you say battery is fairly new , I would get it tested first as if it has any weak / dud cells it can drain over night . Then , if o.k , check to see what is causing electrical drain . Simple to test , if you go here it gives a walk through .
