Regular and constant beeping.

whether the car is locked or unlocked these is a regular single beep that appears to be generated through the cars speaker. I can lock the doors with the key or remote and it is still there. I can leave the car unlocked with the doors open or close and there is still this regular beeping noise.
I cannot find any information as to where it may be coming from or what may be causing it and it is driving me and nuts.
The only time it stops is when the car is been driven.
PLease help
