have you checked things like the coolant temp sensor and the oxygen sensors in the exhaust

There are four of them and the readings are kind of vital to know!

Firstly there is one lambda sensor on this model, the most likely thing is it is diwn on a cylinder as you state high consumption, get the compressions checked first and while there make sure head gasket is still good. take to garage and get fault codes read again and have a lookat the live data to see what the lambda sensor is doing, check air filter aswel
