Take it you had correct amount of anti freeze in car ? You will have to find where water is leaking from first .If you cant see any leaks , a pressure test on cooling system should show any external leaks .If still nothing ,a sniff test (block test ) will check head / gasket .You could also test thermostat .

if the car has or hasnt got a misfire the head gasket is very common on this car to fail

As posted before the head gaskets only last a maximum of 60k on average if lucky. Check your water for cream or oil like gunge. Then check your oil filler cap to see if there is a white cream like gunge. These are the tell tale signs of head gasket failure. You may also notice condensation coming out of the exhaust AFTER the car has reached full operating temperature.
If no signs it may be the water pump leaking. Stand infront of the car with the engine running and look underneath on the drivers side of the car for dripping water.
