hi, my renault scenic has had a few problems, when i press the break pedal i lose my stereo for a few seconds until it turns it self back on, this happens when i break, use the wiper blades, electric windows and anything else that is electric. it also doesn't want to start sometimes and can take upto 10 attempts. i have had a diagnostic and nothing was picked up. i have been told it needs an electrician, can anyone help?. someone suggested a new tdc sensor but i had a new one nearly a year ago.

MEY BE A CANBUSS WIRING PROBLEM.GET AN AUTO ELECTRICIAN WHO CAN ACCESS THE ECU,CANBUSS WIRING.I,VE HEARD OF A CITROEN PICASSO,REAR WIPER FAULT CAN GIVE A SIMILAR PROB.CANBUSS CONNECTIONS ARE PRONE TO GIVE "OBSCURE" FAULTS.I HAVE A BEAUTIFULL C5 AUTO ESTATE DIESEL WITH 121500 MLS,DON,T WANT TO HAVE OBSCURE PROBS OCCURR. IN ME GARAGE IS A 1999 MERC C250 DIESEL,19757 MLS, PRE CANBUSS AND COMMON RAIL,CAN,T WAIT TO GET IT ON THE ROAD.I,M 63 YEARS TIME SERVED MECHANIC, NEW CARS? SHITE!

Check the battery earths and also the earth wire that connects from the engine to the bodywork .Hope this helps .
