2000 Renault Scenic starter wont turn

Variant: 1.4
i have the stop light on the dash board on all the time and the car starter wont turn the motor. before this happen i removed the fuel tank sensor as is was not indicating empty or full.Now i am not sure if there is air in the system or a sensor is stopping the car from turning over,the starter makes no nosie and is completly DEAD can some one help

Take it the battery is o.k ? are you getting power to starter ?

dose the dash light come on if so check the main engin fuse under bonnet there is a fuse box on the passenger side of the car you will see the fuses with clear plastic on the top if one is blown goto a scrap yard and get one as one can cost 30 to 60 pound
