2006 Renault Scenic central locking

i have an intermitant problem with my central locking it is ok for a few weeks then will not open any doors and manual key has to be used then all works ok for a few more weeks.this is not my car but an old ladys who lives next door any suggestions please.

I had the same problem on my old Scenic - I changed the batteries and that sorted the problem. Hope this helps.
