2000 Renault Scenic wont start

My scenic wouldnt start the other week tried everything took the 4th spark plug out to check and was all ok then started after putting it back in. Then last sat wouldnt start again tried it all again nothing so left it tried it tuesday started first time until this sat now wont start again, it turns over just wont fire up plz plz any suggestions

Crankshaft sensor is common cause of not starting but other faults also .

hi im having the exact same problem,with the same car. but the problem is i dont know where the crankshaft sensor is and i cannot find a mechanic thats arround my area.... can someone please help me

on righthand side of engine , gearbox side there is a banana shaped bracket (size 10 spanner) .just under waterpipe bracket
