2002 Renault Scenic wont start

car would not start so rang r.a.c they said it was crank sensor went and got new one fitted. after a couple of days car would not always start sometimes i can go back in house and pop back out and try again and it will start i have replaced sensor again incase it was faulty but still have same problem could anyone please help cheers

perhaps the alternator?

Could try TDC sensor.
