2006 Renault Scenic mileage on dash board

Do they mean they wont do it rather than it cant be done ? Plenty of people advertise mileage correction in local free motor magazines , simple job with right equipment .

Thanks for reply, Both garage and customer service say it can't be done.
If it can be done then is it legal ? I would rather have correct mileage on the car.

i had the blackout problem on my scenic, at the time renault wanted me to pay all cost for replacement which was over £600, i looked aroud the web and found an engineer that rectified the fault and i can only say he was absolutely brilliant quoted me £150 and 2 years warranty, he was in ireland and i was in scotland, he told me how to remove the display took me less than five minutes and i posted it to him, i was supposed to get it back within a week but he had a problem with his computer and had to order parts for that, anyway when he returned my dash after a fortnight including i think about £20-£30 refund as an apology for the delay due to his computer he then talked me through the re-installation over the phone, i have not had any problems since and i still have his number if anyone requires it, he was first class
