2000 Renault Scenic blower stays on when switched to off position and drains battery.

Car: Renault Scenic
Year: 2000
Variant: 1.6
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
The blower wont switch off even when I turn the engine off and it drains the battery. I unpluged the main feeder plug under the dashboard so I have no heating now. Battery charged up fine with blower unplugged but dont know what's causing it to stay on??
