2005 Renault Scenic clutch position sensorciruit signal

Car: Renault Scenic
Year: 2005
Variant: 1.5tdi
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
hi ,
the problem is that the P light stays on the electronic dash board .The electric hand brake is disengaged manually but the P (parking light stays on with the message "please check parking brake" although the hand brake is off .
I have a fault code DF015 Which reads " clutch position sensor circuit signal incoherence between sensor and box"

Would you agree that the sensor switch is the problem?
if so i dont seem to be able to locate this .

help and comments would be very welcome

Get a different answer for that code ,

DF015 0685 Main relay control circuit.

Also this from Renault forum

grand scenic 1.5cdi starter circuit fault

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

when start button pressed the starter does not always operate correctly. The ECU turns ignition on and then activates starter sparodically, as if the key was being flicked? It will do this several times then stop. It seems as if the ecu is 'pulsing' a signal to the starter, rather than giving it the full command to start.
Launch X431 gives code; DF015 main relay - memory control circuit , permanent low level.

So now confused a bit more.
So would it be the main CPU
Relay

i had some faults on the parking brake on a late scenic, turned out to be slightly bad connections on battery, making a volt drop.
for some reason the h/brake ecu is quite sensitive to volt drops and flags up faults.
i also cleaned up the connections on gearbox, and alternator as well.
