2000 Renault Scenic will not start

When you get into the car and insert the electronic key and press the start button nothing happens. the electronics start, fan starts but not starter. Error messages include low battrey(brand new one fitted) park brake fault, low oil(oil fine).
Car towed to garage and when mechanic got it it started. Got home parked up next day would not start. Returned few hours later it started. How it has stopped again. Any ideas????

Check wiring to starter and all earths .Especially any earth between engine / gearbox .

could be an immobiliser problem,get a diagnostic run to check for fault codes,bench test the starter motor and check your ignition live to starter and also the earth strap on gearbox
