2005 Renault Scenic excessive cranking to start and then struggles to drive over 2000rpm

I have a scenic 1.6 16valve it struggles to start whether its hot or cold once started it struggles to accelorate over 2000rpm you have to build the revs up slowly any ideas much thanks daz.

Many possible causes i.e ECU Coolant Temp Sensor , EGR valve needing cleaned / replaced .

check the exhaust system and cat are`nt blocked up or restricting the flow of exhaust gases,could be a problem with your idle control valve or throttle housing
