Could be idle control valve , or idle stepper motor, which ever is fitted.Sometimes you can get away with cleaning them with carb cleaner and re-fitting , worth a try .

This is from Renault forum with another suggestion ,

Renault Scenic 1.6 8valve - high idle when warm .

Thanked 21 Times in 21 Posts I'd clean the throttle body and the Idle Air Control Valve.Carbon deposits build up and can cause problems similar to yours.

Also, have the Coolant Temperature Sensor for the ECU tested as it could be faulty and giving the ECU the wrong information. If the ECU thinks the engine is still cold,it will add more fuel at idle which would make it idle at higher revs.

Hope this is useful .
