1998 Renault Scenic door stuck

one of the rear doors is stuck shut it don't open from inside or outside i've took door trim off but still don't know how to release the catch.
can anyone help?

Common fault was the wiring from pillar into door frame breaking (under rubber sheath ) Worth a look .If you have trim off can you not move any rods / linkage to door lock solenoid or lock assembly by hand ?

try giving the door a good bang around the lock area whilst pressing the unlock button it s worked for me before (the solenoid is probably sticking and needs renewing)

i can move all the rods but the door still dnt open

its a right fiddle but possible... get a long spike and a mirror... use the spike to find the small pinhole near the lock clasp. push it in and the door will open.. the cause of this problem is the internal return spring mechanism in the lock assembly fails due to water ingress. it took me 45mins to locate and open door. its a pain but possible... hope this helps!!!
