Hi, My scenic first had a problem of over-running, The stop solinoid was replaced (more than once) £150 worth of wiring that had rotted out,Then one day, when my wife had the car, She started to drive up a hill, and the car just died.Greenflag towed to a specialist who examined it replaced the injectors, (no change),checked every wire in the loom (all fine).They said the diognostic machine said it could be A)fuel pump. B)ECU. unfortunatly I dont have £850 for a new ECU.Or £50 for that matter.It still starts but sounds rough with some white smoke, will pull away,but the stalls.but would start again. If any-one wants a challange & look at it, please do,otherwise I may have to sell as scrap. Please can you help. Thank You.

After the work and money spent already to try and fix car , and what they are saying now is needed ,it's a bit of a money pit . Can't see any way out , without possibly blowing more money , other than getting another opinion .Depending on overall condition of car , m.o.t etc whether it's worth doing , your decision .
