2002 Renault Scenic noise from turbo

I get a sonic type of hum at full turbo boost, at between 2500 rpm to 3500 rpm.
I believe it occurs when the turbo is opening the wastegate to relief excess pressure.
Could it be another component that is making this sound when engine is loaded?

remove hose between turbo and airfilter feek impeller for roughness should be v smooth also check rotors arnt bent or missing
