Steering

1999 Renault Scenic
Car: Renault Scenic
Year: 1999
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
The car is really hard to steer left, but fine right. This goes for all speeds but obviously more noticeable parking.

Anyone have any idea whats wrong and cost to fix please?

Sounds like it could be a sticking valve in the system somewhere, shouldn't be too expensive to fix but would need to be sorted at a garage.

hi i have the rxe model 2lt petrol, and my problem is when stationary and i have to turn the wheel to drive off there is a knocking sound.
there is no knocking sound when motoring and no shakes etc when driving at speed.
as stated it only happens from initial pull off, and sounds worse when i have to put full lock on.
a mechanic stated that it could be the cv joint, but i have had this done with no difference to the knocking.
anyone have any clues, as i cant understand it,the car overall drives lovely but its just from inital pull off either left or right then the knocking appears.
