scenic starts & ticks over then when you put your foot on the accelorator & give it a bit of gas it cuts ot but it starts up again stright away ..........help please

if its fly by wire , I think it maybe . corroded wiring to the multi plug on the throttle pedal switch/pot?????

thanks for the reply fixed it now turns out it was
sender unit in tank full of crap
took it out cleaned all lines & filters
now spot on apart from stop light & engine management light are on hey ho carnt have everything

My Scenic 1.6 petrol starts fine, ticks over for about 5-6 seconds then cuts out. It will do this repeatedly unless you can get the vehicle moving in which case it only cuts out when at a standstill. Once the engine has heated up it appears ok.
