Dashboard message
2008 Renault Scenic 1.6

on dashboard saying emmision problem probably oxygen sensor did disconnect one in front of engin and put back on.its know saying no message available.does this mean there is not a problem anymore with oxygen sensor .

Replies and fixes

Dont know what you are using to get your messages but it needs scanned for fault codes . Disconnecting o2 sensor won fix problem unless there was a fault with wiring and pulling on/off cleared it .

before it was giving me a fault code p0136.but know on my scanner its saying no faults.

You got any exhaust leaks ? Try running and see if code returns

no leaks that I know of.did put new oxygen sensor on exhaust pipe maybe it's not flush with exhaust pipe
