2011 Renault Scenic dashboard display

When car switched on and passenger gets into front seat the Airbag check light comes on.
When car is switched off and passenger gets in, then the car is switched on the dashboard display is normal.
When car is switched off and passenger gets in, then the car is switched on the dashboard display is normal.

When you say switched on , do you mean engine running or ignition switch in first/on position ?
