2010 Renault Scenic usb not working

Usb and aux jack not working. This socket is near gear stick. I have removed from dash to check wires are connected which they were. There is no response from audio system whatsoever when a usb or jack is inserted. Seems a common issue with no answers.

I had this same fault in work about a month ago.
It turned out to be the multimedia control unit behind the glovebox.
Can't remember off hand how much it cost, but I remember it did have to be configured to the vehicle using the diagnostic computer
