Hi i have a renault scenic 1.9 sci the problem I,v got is the clutch

Could be signs of clutch wear if not biting till near end of travel .Could also be clutch cable which is self adjusting not operating correctly , but hard to say as there are other possible causes .(Assuming that year is a cable and not hydraulic clutch .
