2003 Renault Scenic kangarooing under load like running out of fuel

Hi guys I have a real issue with my 1.9dci mk2 scenic at the moment it is kangarooing under load and on pull away like it is running out of fuel and it is intermittently loosing power like it is being switched of and straight back on again. It has been on the diagnostics machine several times now. Firstly the rac came out and told me there was 2 stored faults DF067 and the other was DF008 second one being the throttle potentiometer. I had already replaced it with a used one off eBay but the rac tech said his money was on that being faulty. After buying a brand new one from Renault £121 it did not resolve my issue. I have since changed the fuel filter and still no change. I took it to a tech yesterday for further diagnosis and the codes cleared by rac had not reappeared and there were no new codes. Can any body help.

Codes can be helpful clues to what is going on but they are not lists of things to replace.
Find a decent tech who can actually read and understand live data.

If it was with me now I'd be concentrating on the fuel rail pressure to see if there were any fluctuations.
but you need good quality diagnostics and the training to operate the system.
isn't there say a Bosch diesel injection specialist in your area?
check the yellow pages under diesel injection.
These guys are usually well equipped and well trained.

Sorted the issue today. Whipped out the crank tdc sensor and it was gummed up and the small bit of metal that you can see on the end usually shiny was black. After a good clean with some carb cleaner and a tooth brush she is now purring like a kitten again.
