2001 Renault Scenic fuel leak

About week ago developed a knocking noise on the rear driver side, checked boot but nothing in it then few days later there is a strong petrol smell, checked under car & think is petrol dripping from small silver cannister next to fuel tank when engine running

its the fuel filter you will need a new one easy to fit they have pushfit connectors but watch your eyes as you dont want to get petrol in them when you remove the old one
