Battery drain

If the car is left for about 3 days the battery is flat. nothing obvious on and Ive taken out the glove box light bulb and boot light bulb. Have recently had 2 new batteries and the problem is re occuring, something is draining the battery. any ideas thanks.

It could be anything .You have to carry out a test for leakage to earth ,you can place a test light between the battery earth post and a good earth to see if it lights ,or using an amp meter do the same and see what draw you are getting ,with everything locked it should be 0.030amps approx .if it,s more you can start with isolating the fused circuits by removing the fuse and seeing if your value changes.this would be a first step.only other is fault codes may show a faulty component ,not necessarily in engine systems it could be other system component fault.

With an amp meter connected to battery if its not showing more than 12 volts with the engine running your alternator is probably faulty and not charging your (new battery)

My car has had the battery tested and the charging ! All ok. But the battery is now flat again !!
