2002 Renault Scenic littel power under 2500 revs

After having my car serviced at a local mecanic it came back with a lack of power at low revs. I have to keep the excelerator down in order for revs to pick up above 2500rpm to get enough power to be able to pull away. The lokal Renualt dealer adviced me to fit oridgenal spark plugs and check the coils, witch i did but the problem remains.
Can somebody please assist with some posible solution.

Sounds like a misfiring issue. Need to make sure that all the coil packs are working. These do tend to stop firing. With the engine running on tickover, remove the plug connector on top of the coil packs one by one, any that does not change the tone of the engine is the one that is not working...
