2003 Renault Scenic interment loss of power

Bought car a week ago. Got it serviced straight away and garage say engine is sweet as nut, but every now and then I get a slite loss of power for seconds. What cud be causing this and how to repair it. Thank you

possible erg valve on air mass meter faulty it would need to be put on a diagnostic test
