2002 Renault Scenic wont start when its cold

well when its really cold outside the car wont even turn over! the immobiliser works as have had that checked. it only does it when its cold. please help!!

oh its a petrol 1.6 btw, just got it going after ages of turning the key on an off, when it started it was like nothing was wrong
