Renault Modus Door Lock Problems

Have removed faulty lock & have replacement lock. Cannot engage ball end of bowden cable in exterior door handle mechanism. How to get ball end to fit in handle mechanism without pulling out when operated?

Have replaced door lock as sensor told ecu door unlocked when was in fact locked & auto unlocked whole car. New lock works ok but will not unlock with key plip. Have disconnect battery & reconnect. Lock worked ok for some mins but then stop...

Wipers not working. Except for wash wipe.
