2004 Renault Laguna car sounds like a diesel when warm

hi have recently bought this car with genuine 40k and was fine untill driving home and engine didnt sound right the car is fine when cold sounds perfect but when it warms up it get worse and stall the engine. have changed the oil which worked slightly but am thinking it could be a valve making it sound wrong any ideas

Should have changed filter at same time .Could be lack of oil pressure affecting hydraulic lifters / tappets .

filter was changed turned out to be the top bearing was gone

My Renault Laguna Alize 1999 is making a rattling noise around the engine area. When stationary it's worse and when revving the car it sounds really bad. Any ideas please?
