engine constantly cuts out gets a little better when warmed up.found first spark plug on left hand side coated in oil.top gasket possibly needs replacing would this cause cutting out problems

Oil coated on plug could cause spark to short / track cutting out that cyl .

could possibly a crank sensor or other sensor failing are you getting the management light on? if so your best solution would be a code read
