Increase BHP?

2003 Renault Laguna II 1.8 16v Dynamique

I have had my car a while and the 1.8 engine is a bit lazy, even in the high revs. I was wondering if there were any simple tweaks I could do to give it a bit more power without installing induction kits or ecu chips.

sorry but there isnt much you can do on the cheap to release power from these engines but things like induction kit a free flowing stainless exhaust super chip performance cat fse feul pressure boost valve things like this but they all cost money big money ie cams to i would recommend a rolling road tune and set up and that should feel different as the feuling and all other things will be set up
