2003 Renault Laguna rear screen wash not working

check the washer pipe where it passes from body to tailgate inside the black rubber sleeve,it could be trapped or broken,if this is ok then you need to trace the washer pipe back where it runs behind headlining and check that the one way valve is`nt stuck

There could well be gunge in the pipe near to where it comes from the tank or in a pipe junction where it splits to feed front and back

where is the valve likely to be

they are normally located halfway along the headlining,will need to pull head lining down to have a look

i went into a renault dealer today to get a non-return valve and was told that there was,nt one for the rear wash?,i dont want to go to all the trouble of taking the headlining down and nothing there,could it be a blocked pipe

If it's a twin connection pump you could just swap the pipes around on the pump (for testing only) to see if the water comes out the back washer jet instead of the front, that will then tell you if the rear washer pipe and jet is clear.
